Trondheim Matchmaking over for denne gang!
Nok en gang er Trondheim Matchmaking vel overstått!
Dette var det femte året på rad TMM ble avviklet, men fremdeles under utvikling.
Heldigvis, for alt kan alltids bli bedre, og inntil videre ser det ut til at vi klarer å gå i riktig retning.
Årets festival er den med størst publikumstilslutning noen sinne: Inkludert festivalutstillingen (som står til 12. november og still counting) ved Trøndelag Senter for Samtidskunst, var det rundt regnet 1850 publikummere tilsammen alle 4 dagene!
TEKS takker alle frivillige og resten av festivalstaben for en fantastisk innsats med strålende humør hele veien!-)
En stor takk selvsagt til hovedsamarbeidspartner Nordisk Musikkteknologi Konferanse ved institutt for akustikk, og linje for Musikkteknologi, NTNU. I tillegg tusen takk til institutt for informasjonsteknologi og datateknikk, NTNU, til Cinemateket, til Ny Musikk Trondheim, til Sound Scape Studios, til Trøndelag Senter for Samtidskunst og til Dokkhuset AS.
Uten en smule finansiering hadde vi mildt sagt ikke vært særlig langt, så vi benytter anledningen til å nevne at festivalen er finansiert med støtte fra Trondheim kommune, Norsk kulturråd, Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune og Fond for Lyd og Bilde.
En hjertelig takk til alle deltakerne som gjennom sine fantastiske opptredener og performancer, innsiktsfulle og engasjerende foredrag har gjort festivalen så minneverdig som den blei!
Til slutt et stort hurra for et flott og engasjert publikum, som i vesentlig grad bidro til at festivalens gjester følte seg virkelig godt mottatt!
Nå skal vi på TEKS telle fakturaer, skrive rapporter, lage dokumentasjon + begynne planleggingen for neste års festival. Kan hende det blir litt stille fra oss den første tiden.

Trondheim Matchmaking is an arena for presentations of innovative ideas and artistic projects – a place where competence and resources within electronic arts and new technology are maintained and developed. This year the main theme of the festival is ‘MASKIN’ (Machine), and it is coordinated with NoMuTe, Nordic Music Technology Conference. As part of the festival an exhibition opens at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art.
The subject of the festival relates to the possibilities and limitations that lies within the new technologies that we to an extending degree surround ourselves with. And man’s relation to them. How is this expressed within the arts, as base for ideas, and as tool for production and presentation.
The festival opens October 12th at 17.30 at Dokkhuset, and during the weekend there will be both lectures, exhibition opening (at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art) and concerts. The festival finishes of with the world premiere of ’Heart Chamber Orchestra’; a concert with the artist duo ‘Terminalbeach’ and Trondheim Sinfonietta.
