Brakka Soundsystem returns to SPL!
Brakka is a sound collective which aims to reflect their sonic environment in a giant metaphysical phase error. Brakka have been around for 6 years now and plays visual improvised music with the elements of noise, ambient, world, free jazz and electronic club music. You never know what you get from Brakka, but experience tells us it will be good.
Perhaps one can say that they always adapted to the expression with the public, but of course without losing sting. Either way, elements from all these expressions is found in one form or another in the sound of Brakka. People who have visited Brakka: Stian Einmo, Ole Morten Vågan, Inkeri Laitinen, Petter Vågan, Ole Thomas Kolberg, Espen Paulsen and many more. Brakka has played the Træna Festival 07, 08, 09 and one of the largest Balkan jazz festivals Nisville (Serbia) last autumn. Primus (electrical) motor and producer in the barracks is Leo Sande Gasnier.
