Ambolthue is Kjetil Hanssen from Oslo, who has been with us since our very first year! He’s maybe best known as Torstein Wjiik when performing solo, but during the noise festival “Støyfest” in Oslo earlier this year, the name Ambolthue was first used for a duo with Kjetil and Sten Ove Toft. Personal issues at the moment turned Ambolthue into a persona on its own.
Ambolthue is harsh noise with loads of personality and energy, but though the energy comes from a dark place, it’s 100% happy noise.
